HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS: APPLY NOW FOR AIM YP SCHOLARSHIP

Part of AIM Young Professionals of Dearborn County’s mission is to support the next generation of outstanding individuals and entrepreneurs. One of the ways we do that is by offering the AIM YP Future Leaders of Dearborn County Scholarship.

This annual college scholarship worth up to $500 and a minimum of $250 is open to current senior students graduating from Lawrenceburg, South Dearborn, or East Central high schools in 2014.

Applicants are required to show their work experience, school activities, and community volunteer efforts. They must also complete two essays: one about their education and career objectives as well as future goals. The second essay should be about a business idea or improvement they would like to see become a reality in Dearborn County.

A successful applicant should also include two letters of recommendation from a professional outside of their immediate family. A copy of the student’s most recent report card or transcript is also requested.

The deadline to submit an application is May 16, 2014.
