South Dearborn Middle School teacher Lindsay Ransom said the purpose of Career Day is to expose students to a number of different career paths that will encourage them now to take full advantage of all the educational opportunities available to them.
“Our past Career Day was quite a success with over 17
individuals & groups visiting the 7th & 8th grade classrooms
and sharing information about their careers. We are seeking people from a
variety of careers and educational backgrounds to expose to the students,” Ransom
said.
If you are interested in participating in the Career Day,
contact Ransom at lindsay.ransom -at- sdcsc.k12.in.us (replace -at- with @), or
call the middle school at (812) 926-6298. AIM YP members are also urged to
inform us if they are participating, aimyp2 -at- gmail.com.
In the event of a snow day on January 14, the SDMS Career
Day will be rescheduled for January 16.
