The AIM Young Professionals of Greater
Dearborn County is excited to announce its 3rd Annual AIM YP 5K scheduled for
Saturday, May 17 at the Lawrenceburg Bike Trail in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
The focus of our 5K is to raise monies to
award three scholarships to students from each of our three schools in Dearborn
County: Lawrenceburg, South Dearborn, and East Central.
The funds will also go
towards funding the Maverick Challenge contest for Dearborn County high school
students. This contest is an
opportunity for high school juniors and seniors to develop and showcase their
entrepreneurial spirit and work with local business persons for the chance to
win a cash prize to invest in their idea.
AIM (Achieve, Inspire, Mentor) is
Dearborn County’s Young Professional group.
Made up of active, civic-minded professionals, AIM hopes to promote
Dearborn County’s future as a great place to live, work and play. Working under the Dearborn County Chamber of
Commerce, AIM’s focus is to prevent migration of educated youth to larger
cities and to encourage those who have left to return to Dearborn County.
AIM’s 3rd Annual 5K is targeting
Dearborn County’s professional youth, business leaders and all residents that
care about growing the future of our community through mentoring opportunities,
educational programs, business affiliations as well as scholarships.
Your sponsorship of AIM YP’s 5K will not
only help establish our young group but bring your company heightened corporate
