HAVE FUN AT AIM YP'S GOOFY GOLF OUTING JULY 31

Oven mitts. Hockey sticks. Baseball tees. Foam balls.

Those objects don’t come into play at your typical charity golf outing. That’s why the fifth annual AIM Young Professionals of Dearborn County Goofy Golf Outing is anything but typical.

Golf outings are usually dominated by the players who take their game seriously. At the AIM YP Goofy Golf Outing, the playing field will be leveled for those who just like to have fun. While a few holes at this quick nine-hole scramble will be played the traditional way, others will require teams to tee off with a tennis racket, use a kids-sized golf club to hit a long drive, and other challenges.

This fun event will take place Friday, July 31 at the Dearborn Country Club, 170 Country Club Lane, in Aurora. Check in begins at the pro shop at 5:30 p.m. and tee time is 6:00 p.m.

Following the fun on the Dearborn Country Club’s beautiful course, players will gather in the clubhouse for food donated by Blimpie in St. Leon, Indiana, drinks, and networking. AIM YP will also hand out fun prizes and trophies, including the coveted trophy for last place.

This AIM YP event is open to everyone. Cost is $30 per person, which includes two drink tickets and the food. Teams of up to four people can also register.

You can register and pay online by visiting www.AIMYP.com and clicking on the PayPal link at the top of the Home page.

Funds raised in the AIM YP Goofy Golf Outing will go towards the AIM YP Scholarship Fund benefiting students at Dearborn County’s three high schools: East Central, Lawrenceburg, and South Dearborn.
