What a great day for a run! The 5th Annual AIM YP 5K presented by the Greendale Redevelopment Commission took place on the Lawrenceburg river levee on Saturday, May 5.
We had 86 participants in the footrace, which is the biggest fundraiser each year for our Dearborn County Future Leader Scholarships and the Maverick Challenge. This event raised more than $5,000, thanks to the runners, walkers, and all our generous sponsors.
Thirteen-year-old Robbie Notton, of Hebron, Kentucky, was our overall champion in the 5K run. He finished the 3.1 mile course in 18:04. The top female overall was 19-year-old Bridget Bedel at 23:05.
