AIM YP is currently seeking judges to be a part of our 2013-14 Maverick Challenge entrepreneurship competition. This is a great opportunity for any entrepreneur, business owner, or manager to give back to the community by donating a few hours of their time advising local high school students in this competition
We need four judges – three as the primary judges and one as an alternate. The judges must meet the following criteria:
- Each judge must be able to commit to the entire Maverick Timeline. See schedule below.
- A judge may have to step down if there is a conflict of interest with a Maverick student or they find out they can’t commit to the timeline.
- Judges do not have to be local.
- Judges must be willing and able to give constructive criticism to the students.
- Judges should consider the Maverick Challenge criteria and guidelines provided by the Maverick Administrators when judging the business plans.

- October 7-10, 2013 - Business Planning & Finance Seminar (one date during this week)
- Wednesday, October 23 & Thursday, October 24, 2013 - Student Pitches
- November 4-7, 2013 - Student Meetings
- December 2, 2013-December 16, 2013 - Plans Judged
- Monday, January 6, 2014 - Finalist Info Session
- January 13, 2014-January 17, 2014 - Finalist Presentations
