$500 SCHOLARSHIPS FOR DEARBORN COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS

Part of AIM Young Professionals of Dearborn County’s mission is to support the next generation of outstanding individuals and entrepreneurs. One of the ways the organization does that is by offering the AIM YP Future Leaders of Dearborn County Scholarship.
This annual college scholarship worth up to $500 and a minimum of $250 is open to current senior students graduating from Lawrenceburg, South Dearborn, or East Central high schools in 2015.

Applicants are required to show their work experience, school activities, and community volunteer efforts. They must also complete two short essays: one about their education and career objectives as well as future goals. The second essay should be about a business idea they would like to see become a reality in Dearborn County.

A successful applicant should also include two letters of recommendation from a professional outside of their immediate family. A copy of the student’s most recent report card or transcript is also requested.

You can download and print the AIM YP Future Leaders of Dearborn County Scholarship application here. Completed applications should be mailed to or dropped off at AIM YP, C/O Dearborn County Chamber of Commerce, 320 Walnut Street, Lawrenceburg, Indiana 47025.

Mailed applications must be postmarked by May 15, 2015.
